PGD IN GLOBAL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
                 Diploma with at least 3 years of Senior Management experience

Duration:
1 Year-FULL TIME
for PGs with management or related subjects / Engineering Graduates/ Graduates with 1 year work experience (on exemption basis)
2 Years-FULL TIME for Graduates from any discipline which includes an Eight Months Management Foundation Programme at Sandz Management Academy, India

This program is designed to advance understanding and critical use of aspects of contemporary international affairs.

Objectives of the program

  • This program increases the competency of managers to evaluate the appropriateness of advice provided externally and internally and to utilise that information to make decisions consistent with achieving sustainable outcomes for multiple international stakeholders.
  • apply appropriate theories and skills in the international business environment
  • demonstrate competence in a range of areas relevant to management practice at senior levels in internationally-focused businesses

Program Structure: The programme is divided into three modules. For completion of PGDGBA, the participant will have to complete all three modules successfully

  • HRM Strategy (Organisational Strategy and Change)-40 hours
  • HRM (Compensation) – 40 hours
  • International HRM/ HRD – 40 hours
  • Human Resource Development (Work Redesign/ Performance Management) – 40 hours

Talent Management Module

  1. HRM (Talent Management)-40 hours
  2. Team Management ( Leadership, Influence & Power) -40 hours
  3. Management of Workplace Conflict (Conflict Resolution Process) -40 hours
  4. HRM (HR Planning/ Selection & Promotion) -40 hours

Human Capital Management Module

  1. International Industrial Relations -30 hours
  2. Advanced Employee Relations -30 hours
  3. HRM ( TNA/ TTT/ Competency Based Assessment/ Evaluation) -60 hours
  4. HRM (Internal Consultant/ HRIS)- -40 hours

Assessment Methods:

  1. 40 % Written Examination
  2. 30% Group Assignment
  3. 20% Individual Assignment
  4. 10% Class Participation

(The above pattern/curriculum may be altered or changed depending on the Faculty In charge of the modules or competent authorities of the institutes)

Attendance:
As per Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA), Singapore 90% attendance is compulsory for all the students.

SHRI Student Membership:
All PGDGBA students will be offered student membership of the prestigious Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) for the course period. Terms and rules of membership apply.

Award / Certification:
Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Administration will be awarded by Singapore Human Resources Institute, Singapore upon successful completion of the programme and graduates may use the title "PGDGBA" after their names.

PGD IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
